The Guida farm was a well-known local dairy. It was through the dairy that he met his wife, Marion. Her family came to the Guida dairy to buy cream and one day she left her sweater. Paul had to return her sweater to her and their romance resulted in their marriage in 1964. They had one son, John. The farm switched from dairy to beef in the early ‘70s. He had beef cows until his death. Paul worked for some years off the farm at Brainerd Woodcraft where he met his good friend, Clyde Wind.

Paul is remembered for being quiet, intelligent and kind. He was a member of the Jenkins VFW and First Presbyterian Church, Brainerd. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harold; and his wife, Marion. He is survived by his son, John (Carrie) Guida; and grandchildren, Samuel, Anna and Benjamin. He was buried in the Lake Edward cemetery on Oct. 10, 2013.
