Future plans: Attend college and become a physical therapist.

Nomination comments: Mrs. Lang wrote, “Cole Funk is a very hard-working student. He comes to class prepared and ready to learn. He will find time to stop in to ask questions and has a drive to succeed. He is dedicated to his studies but also appears to be having a great senior year.”

Activities/hobbies: Watching most sports, playing video games, taking long walks on the beach.

Future plans: Central Lakes College for a couple of years or the Air Force and competitive gaming.

Nomination comments: Mrs. Kaiser wrote, “Gordy was a student in my Advanced Algebra class last year and is currently in my Applied Mathematics class. Gordy has made tremendous strides over the past year in his work ethic and desire to succeed in mathematics. He stands out among his peers and serves as a positive example of what it takes to be successful in Applied Mathematics.”

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
