Youth Sewing Camp class offered to grades 5-8

Crow Wing County 4-H, University of Minnesota Extension Office is offering a Youth Sewing Camp through Pequot Lakes Community Education for any interested youth in grades 5-8.

This camp will be held from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 (this is an early dismissal day for Pequot Lakes School), in the FACS room at Pequot Lakes High School.

This sewing camp is for youth who have no or very little sewing machine experience. Participants will learn how to use the sewing machine and sew a straight seam. Participants will leave camp with a pillowcase.

All materials and sewing machines will be provided.

Registration fee is $12. Pre-registration is required; there is a maximum of 10 students. Registration deadline is Monday, Feb. 10.
