Cross Country Skiing lessons offered to grades 2-6

Deanne Trottier will offer cross country ski lessons for beginning and experienced cross country skiers in grades 2-6.

Both classes will meet from 3:15-4:30 p.m. Meet in Room 171 at Eagle View Elementary School. Transportation for fifth- and sixth-grade students from the middle school to Eagle View will be provided (school bus).

Beginners will meet Wednesdays, Jan. 8, 14, 22 and 29, and Feb. 5, 12 and 19.

Experienced skiers will met Fridays, Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31, and Feb. 7, 21 and 28. Friday class may meet at an alternate location some weeks. The instructor will provide information.

Fee is $35. Class sizes are limited to 15 per class, so register early. Pre-registration is required. Contact Pequot Lakes Community Education at 568-9200.

The instructor will contact participants before the first class. For information about which level to register for, contact the instructor.

This class is sponsored in part by the Nordic Ski Club. Equipment is provided or bring your own. Dress in layers.
