Technical Theatre class offered in January

Pequot Lakes Community Education is offering a Technical Theater Class from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 6, 7, 9, 13 and 14, in the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium.

Learn the skills needed to operate the theater including rigging, lighting and sound systems. This class includes practical hands-on work. All participants will receive a Technical Certification Card allowing graduate techs to operate the Pequot Lakes theater equipment.

Theater techs are needed for all theater shows, choir and band concerts, and they are in demand.

Instructors are Kim Utesch, CJ Anderson and Craig Friday.

Fee is $35. A minimum of four students is required to hold class. To register or for more information, call Pequot Lakes Community Education at 568-9200.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
