T'ai Chi workshop Oct. 21

Dan Hegstad, T’ai Chi and Chi Kung instructor for more than 20 years, will instruct a class from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Pequot Lakes High School.

Discover what the Chinese have known for centuries: the simple, gentle movements of T’ai Chi and Chi Kung will improve your health and bring balance to your mind, body and spirit.

Regular practice of Chi Kung has been shown to lower blood pressure, improve sleep, lower stress, improve balance, help you relax, improve overall health and improve personal relationships.

The class is open to people of all ages and abilities. Nothing special is required, just wear comfortable clothes. This class will give participants an understanding of the practice of T’ai Chi and Chi Kung.

Class fee is $10. A DVD of “Chi Kung In Ten Gestures” will be available for $25.

A minimum of five registered students is needed to hold class. Pre-registration is required.
