Email

First-graders at Eagle View Elementary School ventured to the Pequot Lakes American Legion on Friday, Sept. 27, where they learned all about the American flag.

Students attended a flag etiquette ceremony with the Post 49 Color Guard, which covered the Civic Values and Principals of Democracy Minnesota Social Studies Standard.

Students watched the movie, “For Which It Stands,” learned basic flag etiquette and had hands-on instruction of proper folding of the U.S. flag.
