Workshop on humor offered Tuesday in Brainerd

Jean Mershon will present a humorous and educational program through The Center for Lifelong Learning entitled “Lighten Up — How to Build Humor into a Healthy Lifestyle” from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Brainerd Campus of Central Lakes College.

Mershon’s presentation will teach participants how laughter can be part of a healthy lifestyle. Learn how humor, risk and change can be positive motivators to promote your health and increase your quality of life. Take a stress assessment to evaluate the four components of healthy living; then learn how you can creatively establish priorities for building a positive, laughter-filled lifestyle.

Cost is $6 for non-members or free for those with a Center for Lifelong Learning membership. Pre-registration is recommended and can be made by calling 218-855-8118.
