The Pine River-Backus Elementary School PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) team recently completed its last day of training in St. Cloud as part of a two-year implementation grant. The team has been instrumental in developing the ROAR (Responsible, On-Task, Always Safe, and Respectful) schoolwide expectations at PR-B. The program promotes positive recognition of students and staff who display and practice those expectations. Shown are Mike Dinnel, fourth-grade teacher; Paula Schroeder, K-4 YFS worker; Holly Rowell, K-1 teacher; Tena Odens, EBD teacher; Michelle Holden, fourth-grade teacher; and Denise Koring, 5-8 YFS worker. Not pictured are Noelle Johnson, music teacher, and Jackie Bruns, elementary principal.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
