Pelican Lakes 4-Hers learn about flag

The Pelican Lakes 4-H Club held its regular monthly meeting March 18 at the Pelican Lakes Conservation Clubhouse.

President Courtney LaRock presided over the meeting. Members reported on their participation in the Crosslake St. Patrick’s Day Parade and discussed the upcoming Pelican Lakes Roadside Pickup that they help with annually.

The Bob and Aundra Erickson family was the host family.

The program was on flag etiquette, presented by Kevin Buss, commander of Pequot Lakes American Legion Post 49, and Mike Marcum, chaplain of Post 49. The 4-H members were taught how to properly fold an American flag.

The club’s next meeting was at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, at the Pelican Lakes
