Nisswa School Bloom Fool's Auction is March 23

The Nisswa Elementary School PTO will host the eighth annual Bloom Fool’s Auction Benefit for Nisswa School at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Gull Lake Center at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa.

Tickets are $30, or two for $55. There is an option to sponsor a reserved table of 10 for $250.

Tickets are available at Nisswa Elementary School or the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce.

This adult night out includes food, a silent and live auction, raffle opportunities for classroom baskets Nisswa teachers and students organize, and entertainment.

Proceeds from this event provide curriculum and programming such as artists in residency, language exposure, field trips, interactive classroom technologies, theatre experiences, guided reading books, additional physical education opportunities, a sound system in the gym and more for the children of Nisswa School.

The most popular items on the auction tend to be artwork created by the students. Leading up to the Bloom, they are guided through the creative process by local artist Michelle Pfeiffer. Pfeiffer has a

passion for teaching art to children and has a long history of inspiring the artistic sides of children in the Brainerd School District.
