Learn about nutritional value of smoothies in Pequot Lakes class

Discover how to make whole food, all natural, tasty Sunlife Superfood Smoothies for snacks or meals to please everyone in a class from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in the Pequot Lakes High School Home Economics Room.

Instructor is Amy Kenow.

Learn how optimal nutrition including fruits and vegetables can be made into smoothies to please the pickiest eater. See how these nutritionally dense super-food drinks will turn into a family favorite and support your daily recommended servings of produce with the addition of the world’s top super foods. Kenow will go over sports performance and recovery smoothies for the elite athlete or weekend warrior.

Class fee is $20. Children ages 8 to 17 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian for $10. The instructor requires a minimum of five students to hold the class.
