Sweet Science class planned for grades K-4

Explore all sorts of fun science concepts using many different types of candy in a class from 3:15-5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at Eagle View Elementary School.

Do Butterfingers float or sink? What does it take to make an M&M turn brown? What happens to a candy cane when you heat it up? How much sugar is really in our treats?

Learn the answers with instructor Angie Wallin. Fee is $20 and includes all supplies and a snack. The instructor requires a minimum of five registered students to hold the class.
