Belly dance classes offered at Eagle View

American Tribal Style Belly Dance will be offered from 6-6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Eagle View Elementary School

Participants will learn four basic movements and get a glimpse of the range of fun and creativity that is modern tribal belly dance. This is an introductory class to let people try it out without committing to the entire session.

Fee is $5.

Beginning Tribal Belly Dance is a four-week series that will focus on inner strength, creativity and positive community. It will be offered from 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, 12 and 19, at Eagle View.

Wear stretchy pants and a comfortable shirt. The instructor, Gaia Sophia, is FCBD certified.

Fee for all four sessions of Beginning Tribal Belly Dance is $35. The instructor requires a minimum of six students registered to hold class.
