Soap Making 101 class offered in Pequot Lakes

Students will learn the old-fashioned process of soap making using oils and lye in a class that will run from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the Pequot Lakes High School Home Economics Room.

Instructor is Abbie Schramm of B&B Goat Goods.

Each student will go home with a bar of fresh soap and a recipe/information sheet to use at home. Schramm will talk about additives like goat’s milk, and lye safety.

Class fee is $10. Pre-registration is required. A minimum of seven students is required for class to be held.
