Students 'swim' their fish decoys

Email

Pequot Lakes High School Art II students had the opportunity to get out and “swim” their fish decoys Saturday, Dec. 15.

The host for the outing in Crosslake was Kirk Schnitker. Members of the Minnesota Dark House and Angling Association and the National Fish Decoy Association were there to help students in the sport of dark house spearing.

While many of the students have summer fished and angled through the ice in the winter, they’d never had the chance to spear.
