Library bookstore to hold Very Merry Book Sale

The Pequot Lakes Community Library is in the process of setting up a permanent bookstore at the library, which will be called Cozy Corner Book Shop.

Starting Monday, Dec. 10, and running through the end of this year, people will be able to find books that will make excellent Christmas presents for anyone on your list.

Thanks to the donation of materials from library patrons and other community members, the library already has a good stockpile of books. Many of are in like-new condition, and a lot of them are copies of newly released books.

Available will be adult fiction and nonfiction, and books for young people. Book prices will be $3 for hard covers and three for $1 for paperbacks.

The bookstore will be open whenever the library is open.

People don’t need a library card to take advantage of this sale, but if they’re not already a member, this would be a good time to get a card for $4 for an individual card or $5 for a family card.
