Science Fun for Kids: Polymer Paradise open to grades 1-4

Science Fun for Kids: Polymer Paradise will be offered to students in grades 1-4 at Eagle View Elementary School and Crosslake Community School.

Students will learn about the mystical magic behind creating the longest polymer while creating some of their own to take home. Polymers that will be examined include, but are not limited to, bouncy balls, slime, goo, snot, bubble gum and a lot of different gooey creations.

Instructor Alicia Green has a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and teaching licensure specializing in chemistry and physics.

Classes will be from 3:15-5:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Eagle View or from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Crosslake School.

Class fee is $20 per class (includes snack and supplies). Pre-registration is required. Contact Pequot Lakes Community Education for more information or to register at 218-568-9200.
