Rheumatologist Dr. Stephen Hadley of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Crosby is retiring Feb. 27 after 38 years of service to the community.

To ensure patients continue to have access to rheumatology care in Crosby, St. Luke’s Rheumatology will provide physician consultation and treatment through telemedicine at CRMC. Board certified rheumatologists Dr. Waseen Khan and Dr. Cynthia Weaver will be available at CRMC beginning in March.

Khan received his medical degree from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Conn. He also completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Boston University School of Medicine in Massachusetts.

Before joining St. Luke’s, Khan practiced in Cumberland, R.I. He is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine.

Weaver received her medical degree from the University of South Dakota in Sioux Falls, completed her residency in internal medicine at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, and her fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City.

A rheumatology diplomat with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Weaver is also a fellow with both the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians.
