Pine River Family Market going green

Email

Chuck and Lynn Welte, owners of the Pine River Family Market grocery store, are trying to eliminate or at least drastically reduce the number of plastic bags the store uses. So they are offering incentives to shoppers.

For the past month, anyone who brings in reusable bags is eligible to enter a weekly drawing for a $25 gift card. Next week, Oct. 21-27, the store will give a free reusable bag to anyone who spends $25 or more in groceries.
