SBDC series to cover business marketing

“Marketing Your Small Business” is the third in the spring Advantage Series presented by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in the Business and Industry Center at Central Lakes College in Brainerd.

From 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in E151 at CLC, Jay Bock will review traditional methods of marketing, what part social media should play in your marketing plan, and how a business decides where its marketing dollars should go.

This session will also talk about determining your target market and how to reach it with advertising. This session is also for people who have a small business and a social media fear. Learn how you can increase sales.

The Advantage Series offers four 1.5-hour sessions that will help prepare those looking to start a business. Some sessions are helpful for those who are already in business. Attend one or attend the whole series. Take them in any order.

Followup counseling is available from the Small Business Development Center’s team of consultants at no charge.

Admission is $30 per person for each session.
