Brzinski, Grimler join Echo Publishing

Jonalyn Brzinski and Travis Grimler recently joined the Echo Publishing staff.

Brzinski, of Brainerd, is an advertising representative for the Crosslake area, with some accounts in the Brainerd-Baxter areas. She attended St. Cloud Technical College to study advertising.

She wants to help clients grow their business and will sit down and uncover what would be the best way to advertise in Echo Publishing products.

Grimler, a Pine River-Backus High School graduate who lives in Backus, is a full-time reporter for the Pine River Journal and Lake Country Echo. His primary coverage areas are Pine River and Backus.

He graduated from Bemidji State University (BSU) in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in English with an emphasis in creative and professional writing. He graduated from BSU in 2011 with a master’s degree in English literature.

From November 2011-July 2012, Grimler was a verbal English instructor/English language consultant at Liaoning University in China.

Grimler was a reporting intern for the Pine River Journal and Lake Country Echo weekly newspapers during the summers of 2009 and 2010, and has continued to contribute periodically to Echo Publishing products since that time.

Nancy Vogt, Lake Country Echo editor since July 2006, is now editor of the Pine River Journal as well.
