Six injured in crash in Kego Township

Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports that on Saturday, May 10, at 2:27 p.m. the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries on County Road 125 in Kego Township.

Deputies and responders arrived and found that a single vehicle was traveling south, left the roadway and crashed into trees with three adults and three children injured.

The driver, a male, age 32, of Remer, was transported to a Brainerd hospital. An adult male passenger was transported via Sanford AirMed to a Fargo, N.D., hospital. A juvenile female was transported via North AirCare to North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis. Other occupants were treated at the scene. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by North Memorial Ambulance and AirCare, Sanford AirMed, Longville Fire Department and Longville First Responders.

The investigation into the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
