Aaron Joseph Heuer, 30, of Isle, must serve 22 years before he is eligible for supervised and conditional release, the Fergus Falls Daily Journal reported. He also must register as a predatory offender.

Heuer pleaded guilty in March to four counts of felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct and a charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Heuer also was convicted Thursday on one count of first-degree sexual conduct in Mille Lacs County and his sentence on that conviction will run concurrently, the Journal reported.

According to a criminal complaint, Heuer sexually assaulted children while volunteering as a fishing guide at Lutheran Island Camp in Henning, inappropriately touching four boys ages 8 to 10.

Other incidents allegedly occurred with two of the boys on a separate trip in Aitkin County.
