Nisswa Area Historical Society to open Friday for Governor's Fishing Opener
Take a step back in time while visiting Nisswa and learn about the area’s history with a tour of the Nisswa Area Historical Society Museum and Pioneer Village.
First opening of the season is Friday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the Governor’s Fishing Opener.
The museum complex includes the History Center, Livery, Little Red School House, various log cabins, the historic Nisswa Depot and a caboose, all filled with collections showing what life was like during the area’s pioneer days.
Other open dates this month are Saturdays, May 10, 17 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special open dates are Sunday, May 25, and Monday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A donation is the admission fee.
