Ideal Community Service Organization donates $2,500 to community

Ideal Community Service Organization (ICSO) donated $2,500 to the community this month.

Lakes Area Food Shelf, Crosslake Food Shelf and Pine River Food Shelf each will receive $500, which is especially helpful during March when food shelf operations receive matching funds for any donations received.

Pequot Lakes High School Grad Blast will receive $500, and the Pequot Lakes School PTA also will receive $500.

Besides area-wide food shelf operations and school activities, ICSO has contributed in the past to: the Ideal Scholarship Foundation, Ideal Volunteer Fire Department, Rollie Johnson Recreational Area & Big Island Conservation, local libraries, Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association, Fun Books For Kids and Christmas For Kids.

None of these donations would be possible without the generous support of ICSO members and the ICSO charitable gambling locations, Bites Grill & Bar in Pine River and Old Milwaukee Saloon & Eatery in Ideal Corners.

ICSO, Inc. is a nonprofit organization promoting the improvement of community and families of Ideal Township. ICSO members include full-time and part-time residents of Ideal Township. To become a member, donate or make a request, send a letter to ICSO, PO Box 751, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472.
