Two arrested for snowmobile theft

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl reports the arrest of two individuals allegedly involved in the theft of a snowmobile from a seasonal cabin on South Black Bear Road in Crosby.

In the early morning hours of March 12, a deputy pulled over a pickup occupied by two men who were acting suspicious. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that a snowmobile in the back of the pickup had been stolen earlier in the week from a cabin in rural Crow Wing County. The owner of the snowmobile had not been to his cabin for several weeks and did not realize his snowmobile was stolen.

As a result, Crow Wing County deputies arrested Larry Borsch, 25, and Paul Borsch, 54, both of Brainerd, for theft of a motor vehicle. Additional suspects are being sought in connection with this theft.
