Pequot Lakes ECFE seeks sellers, buyers for annual garage sale

The Pequot Lakes Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Advisory Council is planning for the third annual Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Trailside Center in Pequot Lakes.

The ECFE Garage Sale is a fundraiser for the School Readiness program scholarship fund. Shop, set up a table to sell your own children’s items or do both — be a buyer and a seller.

Donate items to the ECFE program to sell at the ECFE sales table area. ECFE volunteers will sell the donated items. New and gently used clothing items for newborn to youth sizes may be sold. No clothing with stains or holes, please.

Items allowed at the ECFE Garage Sale are baby/child equipment of all kinds, toys, bikes, books, maternity and nursing items, games and more. Do not bring cribs or car seats.

Families can sell items by renting a table or area to set up display racks. A 12- by 12-foot area with an 8-foot table can be rented for $25. Sellers are responsible for pricing and selling their own items. Sellers can set up Friday night from 4-9 p.m.

Sales space is limited. To reserve a table, contact Melissa at 612-483-4881 or Additional tables can be reserved for $10 each. Tables are not guaranteed until payment is received.

An admission fee of $2 will be charged at the door on the day of the Garage Sale. The admission fee will give people an all-day pass into the ECFE Garage Sale. Food, beverages and coffee will be on sale, too.
