Gubernatorial candidate to be at Billy's on Tuesday
Gubernatorial candidate Rob Farnsworth will speak at Billy’s at Breezy Point on Tuesday, March 11.
Social hour will be from 6-7 p.m. With an ask the candidate session from 7-8 p.m.
Farnsworth is the son of a 33-year retired miner and has been a licensed teacher for the past 13 years. He has been a union member for 15 years and was previously the local union president for two years while teaching for the Department of Corrections.
“I admire what Chip Cravaack was able to do in the 8th District. As a former union member, he was able to bring conservative union members into the Republican coalition, and this propelled him to victory in 2010. I am the only announced candidate that brings these strengths to the campaign,” Farnsworth said.
Farnsworth lives in Hibbing with his wife, Jamie, and three young children. He is a special education teacher with the Hibbing School District.
