“I am pleased to welcome Sen. Dahms and Sen. Gazelka, two respected and experienced members, to the Senate Republican Caucus leadership team. We are looking forward to the fresh ideas and energy they will contribute,” said Senate Republican Leader David Hann.

Gazelka represents District 9, which includes Cass, Wadena, Todd and Morrison counties. Gazelka was first elected to the House in 2004 and to the Senate in 2010. He is the ranking Republican on the Commerce Committee. He runs an Insurance Agency in Baxter.

“I’m excited to be a strong rural voice in the Minnesota Senate leadership arena as we begin the new legislative session and will continue to fight for those priorities important to all hardworking Minnesotans,” said Gazelka.
