Spotted© photo sharing ending for Pineandlakes and Brainerd

This message is to make all Spotted© photo contributors aware that with the sale of the Brainerd Dispatch and Echo Publishing to Fargo Communications Co. our use of the Spotted© photo sharing platform, which is the intellectual property of our former owner, Morris Communications, will end.

If you have uploaded photos to Spotted© in the past and haven't kept backup copies for yourself, you will have until Feb. 28 to retrieve a copy off the Spotted© web servers for the Brainerd Dispatch and Pine and Lakes, access service to those Spotted websites may become unavailable at any time after that date.

Thank you for your past photo contributions. We hope you enjoyed the use of the Spotted© platform. We are searching for a replacement that will allow us to share our photos and those of public contributors, but have not found one yet. When one is selected, we will announce it to the public through our newspapers and websites.

We will continue to share the photos our award-winning photographers take at events and sporting venues throughout the Brainerd Lakes area through our photo slideshows on our and websites.

Becca Clemens
After graduating high school in 2004, I attended Central Lakes College in Staples, MN for 2 years where I got a diploma in Communication Art and Design. I then transfered up to Bemidji State University in, you guessed it, Bemidji, MN. In the spring of 2009, I graduated from BSU. Then in the fall of 2009 I got a job at Echo Publishing, a sister company to the Brainerd Dispatch.
