Turner Towing of Nisswa, with the help of a back hoe and other resources, pulled the Tucker Sno-Cat snowmobile trail groomer out of the lake Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Gary Cook of Lake Shore, a Gull Lake Drifters Snowmobile Club member, was grooming the snowmobile trail when he groomed a trail for snowmobilers to gain easy access to the lake. When he got down to the lake, he had to stop because there were about seven snowmobilers there. Cook had to go around them to turn around and then get back on the trail. That’s when he got stuck.
