Crow Wing SWCD hosting annual tree, plant pre-sale

Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is hosting the 14th annual SWCD Tree and Plant Pre-Sale. The SWCD has easy-to-plant, bare-root trees and shrubs, plus plants and seeds for every condition — wet, dry, sun or shade.

Pines make great wind breaks. For a wet site, plant balsam or tamarack. Norway and Jack pine grow in dry, sandy soils. Moist and dry soils are good for white pine or spruce.
