Legacy Chorale to host waffle breakfast

The Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota will host a Winter Waffle Breakfast and Bake Sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 22, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa.

Dad’s Belgian Waffles, St. Cloud, will provide the food for the breakfast; the menu includes giant, made-from-scratch, malted Belgian waffles served hot off the iron, sausages, nine flavors of syrup and fresh whipped cream, and juice, milk or coffee.

Baked goods from chorale members will be for sale during the event.

Prices for the fundraiser are $8 for ages 13 and older, $5 for children ages 5-12 and free for children under age 5. Tickets can be purchased in advance from chorale members, at the Brainerd Dispatch, BL Broadcasting or Bethany Bookstore in Baxter.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the day of the breakfast.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
