Jenkins Council arranges for snow plowing
The Jenkins City Council was forced to seek a snowplow driver when Roger Olmscheid of the public works department took a job with the state of Minnesota.
Because of snowstorms that occurred while the city was without a snowplow driver, former council member Erik Haff had done the necessary plowing. At the regular Dec. 9 council meeting, Haff offered to perform all winter maintenance for the city at a rate of $16.50 an hour.
