Chickamaw Beach doesn't increase tax levy

The Chickamaw Beach City Council on Tuesday, Dec. 17, maintained the tax levy payable in 2014 at $29,850, the same level as 2013.

This marks the seventh year in a row that the city government has avoided the need to increase the tax levy, while maintaining public protection and road maintenance efforts.
