The collision occurred shortly before 11 a.m. Husemoller was southbound on Highway 10 in Royalton when he swerved to avoid stopped traffic and slid into the oncoming lane of traffic, where his car was struck broadside on the passenger side by a van driven by Scott M. Geiger, 36, Sartell.
