Crow Wing Sheriff

FIRE: Report of a structure fire Nov. 25 in a triplex on Pheasant Lane in Pequot Lakes. Fire was put out with a fire extinguisher.

Pine River Police

THEFTS: Report Nov. 29 of four fire extinguishers stolen from the Pine River Square Apartments. The fire alarm was also set off. That case is under investigation.

Report Dec. 1 of theft of money from a Pine River store by a former employee.

ACCIDENT: Report Nov. 30 of a hit and run on Barclay Avenue. The driver was last seen heading toward Emily. This is under investigation.

Lake Shore Police

ASSAULT: Report Nov. 30 of assault at Zorbaz on Gull. A 35-year-old man reported he was assaulted. The suspect left the area and was later arrested by the Pequot Lakes Police for a DWI. Assault charges are pending.

Pequot Lakes Police

ACCIDENTS: Report Nov. 29 of a property damage accident on Highway 371 in Pequot Lakes.

Report Nov. 29 of a hit and run on Butler Street in Pequot Lakes.

Breezy Point Police

ARRESTS: Two people were arrested for controlled substance crimes (meth) after being stopped for an inoperable headlight in Breezy Point on Nov. 28.

Nisswa Police

PROWLER: Report Nov. 25 from a woman who believed there was someone in her garage at a unit at Grand View Lodge off Highway 371.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
