Pine River-Backus Family Center, Jr's No. 19 BBQ to host fundraiser

The Pine River-Backus Family Center and Jr’s No. 19 BBQ are partnering during the week of the Radiothon to End Child Abuse to bring the community out to raise money for the Family Center’s many programs and services.

The fundraiser will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Jr’s No. 19 BBQ in Pine River. The proceeds from each pulled pork sandwich sold will go to the PR-B Family Center.

Mike and Harry will provide music during the event.

Celebrity wait staff will be WJJY Radio’s Tess Taylor, PR-B Superintendent Cathy Bettino and Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch. Other celebrity wait staff are being added.

Jr’s No. 19 BBQ is located at 303 Barclay Ave., Pine River, two blocks east of the stoplight. Reservations not needed Take out and pre-orders are welcome.
