No serious injuries reported in area crashes

A pickup truck driven by Alex Tappe of Pequot Lakes and a vehicle driven by Sheena Rick, also of Pequot Lakes, collided Thursday, Nov. 14, outside Super Valu in Pequot Lakes.

Tappe, Rick and Rick’s young passenger, Elijah Rick, suffered minor injuries.

Tappe was northbound on Highway 371 and turned left to Super Valu into the path of Rick, according to Pequot Lakes Police Chief Eric Klang. Rick’s vehicle ended up in the ditch on the east side of the highway, and Tappe’s vehicle had damage on the front driver’s side corner.

Another crash occurred Nov. 8 on County Road 16 and Highway 371.

Judith Schrupp, of Hackensack, was slowing down for a vehicle in front of her when she was rear-ended by Jeremy Woodwick, of Pine River. Neither was sent to the hospital, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
