Breakfast with Santa is for area families and their children or grandchildren.

Santa will be on hand to listen to all the Christmas wishes of the children as well as present each one with a gift of goodies provided by the ladies of the Auxiliary. Breakfast will be scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, juice and hot chocolate.

Breakfast will be served from 9-11 a.m. Cost is $6 for adults and children over 6 and free for children under 6.

There will be a free fish pond for the young children to go fishing for prizes.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, the annual Christmas Bazaar and Cookie Walk will be held. More than a dozen local crafters will offer their wares for sale at the bazaar in conjunction with the annual Cookie Walk.

Auxiliary members each bake seven dozen of their favorite Christmas cookies for the Cookie Walk. Customers may purchase a variety of cookies for $7 per pound.

The Christmas Bazaar will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a raffle drawing for prizes that include a $300 Cub Foods gift card, a $200 Holiday Store gift card, a $100 Holiday Store gift card and a 3- by 5-foot American flag.

Tickets for the raffle are being sold by Auxiliary members until the day of the bazaar and will be on sale all day during the bazaar. Winners will be drawn at 2 p.m.

All proceeds of the raffle go toward the Auxiliary scholarship fund. The past year the Auxiliary awarded eight scholarships to area seniors from Pequot Lakes and Pine River-Backus high schools.
