Police Blotter - November 14

The Echo Journal’s police blotter only contains notable events from community police departments and sheriff’s departments when reports are available. Minor incidents are not listed. This week some reports were unavailable due to the Veterans Day holiday.

Crow Wing County Sheriff

BURGLARIES: Report Nov. 6 of a break-in on County Road 106 in Emily.

THEFTS: Report Nov. 10 of theft at Swann Drive in Crosslake and Swanburg Road in Pine River.

Report Nov. 8 of theft of metal on County Road 13 in Nisswa.

ACCIDENT: Report Nov. 8 of a man trapped under a bobcat on Strawberry Lake Road and County Road 39 in Pequot Lakes. Reports from the Breezy Point Police Department show the man was airlifted to the hospital.

Report Nov. 5 of an accident with injuries at County Road 109 and County Road 11 in Merrifield.

Lake Shore Police Department

ACCIDENT: Report Nov. 5 of a vehicle in Stony Brook off 17th Avenue Southwest. Driver got out of the vehicle to get the mail but forgot to put it in park. No one was in the vehicle, but it was a total loss. Only the roof of the car was visible in the creek.

CITATION: Report Nov. 9 of an underage adult cited for attempting to purchase alcohol with a fake ID at Zorbaz on Gull Lake.
