Speeding gets burglary suspect arrested in Lake Shore

An early morning traffic stop on Nov. 1 for a speed violation resulted in the arrest of an East Gull Lake man for burglary and receiving stolen property. A Lake Shore police officer was working a Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) traffic enforcement project when the officer observed a vehicle speeding on County Road 78 in Lake Shore. During the investigation of the stop, officers seized numerous construction related tools and power tools.
