Crow Wing County sheriff

BURGLARIES: Report Oct. 17 of a burglary at a residence on Half Moon Drive in Merrifield. Multiple items were taken from a garage.

Report Oct. 18 of a burglary on the 20000 block of County Road 3 in Merrifield.

THEFTS: Report Oct. 17 of gas cans stolen from boats sometime in the past two weeks from Pinewood Drive in Emily.

Report Oct. 18 of the theft of a purse from the 40000 block of Highway 6 in Emily.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Report Oct. 18 of three pigs on the road on County Road 127 and 137 in Nisswa. The pigs were brown, white and black.

CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT: Report Oct. 17 of criminal sexual conduct in Pequot Lakes. By phone, Lt. Denny Lasher said the incident occurred July 30 but was reported Oct. 17. It involved two adults and no one has been arrested. Lasher said the incident is still under investigation and there’s no risk to the public.

Emily police

RECOVERED PROPERTY: Report Oct. 9 of a stolen ATV recovered. The owner was contacted.

Report Oct. 8 that a trailer was located on the trails north and west of Evergreen Drive in Emily. The trailer was returned to the owner.

Pequot Lakes police

THEFTS: Report Oct. 20 of theft of a cookie jar from a residence on Front Street in Pequot Lakes.

Report of theft Oct. 20 on First Street, Pequot Lakes, on Oct. 17 of a wallet from Aspenwood Drive in Jenkins, and Oct. 17 of a wallet from a vehicle on Bell Avenue, Pequot Lakes.

FOUND PROPERTY: A little girl’s purse with money in it was found in Dru’s Garden during the Dru Sjodin run this summer. Call the police department at 218-568-8111 to identify.

INDECENT CONDUCT: Report Oct. 19 of indecent conduct on Highway 371 in Jenkins. A man was cited after urinating facing toward the highway.

ACCIDENT: Report Oct. 18 of a car versus pedestrian accident on Old Highway 371 in Pequot Lakes. The woman hit was transported to the hospital with a possible broken leg.

Report Oct. 15 of a vehicle rollover at County Road 17 and Ninth Avenue Southwest. The vehicle attempted to turn northbound at about 40 mph on a slippery road and rolled over into the ditch. The three people in the car all refused an ambulance.

FRAUD: Report Oct. 18 from a Breezy Point man that a fraudulent purchase of about $900 was made out of his Wells Fargo bank account.

BURGLARY: Report Oct. 16 of a burglary at a residence on the 30000 block of North Spruce Drive, Breezy Point.

THEFT: Report Oct. 16 of a juvenile shoplifter at Pine Peaks in Breezy Point. Juvenile paid for the item and parents were contacted.

DWI: Report Oct. 18 of a DWI arrest in Pine River.
