Goblins, spider princesses, scare crows, dinosaurs, owls and rock stars all showed up at the annual Backus American Legion Auxiliary Kids’ Halloween Party on Oct. 19. More than 100 children age 12 and under accompanied by adults enjoyed a costume contest and various games with prizes for all, free pumpkins, a skeleton bag full of goodies and a complimentary lunch.
