THEFTS: Theft of a vehicle and damage to property was reported Sept. 23 on Lens Road in Emily.
A Pequot Lakes resident reported Sept. 23 that his neighbor pulled the resident’s vehicle into the neighbor’s yard.
BURGLARIES: Burglary reported on the 8000 block of County Road 13 in Nisswa on Sept. 23.
Report Sept. 24 that someone had attempted to get into the Emily City Hall building.
Report on Sept. 24 of a barn broken into on Highway 6 in Emily.
Report on Sept. 28 that a shed door was kicked in on Pine Cone Lane in Merrifield.
FOUND PROPERTY: Report on Sept. 28 that six boat gas cans were found in the back of trees by a boat landing on Mill Road in Emily.
Cass County sheriff
BURGLARIES: Report of items stolen from an RV in Ponto Lake Township, east of Backus, on Sept. 23.
Report of a burglary in Longville on Sept. 24. Gas cans were stolen.
THEFT: Report Sept. 24 of a theft of an industrial meat grinder from Barclay Township.
Emily Police Department
THEFTS: Theft of a gas tank from a boat was reported Sept. 23. This is one of several recent complaints of gas tanks stolen off boats and out of sheds.
Breezy Point Police Department
FLEEING: A report Sept. 27 of a fleeing vehicle, which was clocked at 74 mph and locked at 70 mph in a 35-mph zone. The driver, Kevin Song Jin Yong Bengtson, was arrested for DWI and fleeing.
TRAFFIC ARREST: Michael Clarence John Winter was arrested for DWI on the 6800 block of County Road 11 Sept. 24.
DOMESTIC: An arrest was made Sept. 25 for domestic assault and disorderly conduct on Breezy Point Drive.
Nisswa Police Department
THEFT: Report on Sept. 29 of golf clubs stolen from a parked vehicle near the condos on the 23000 block of Nokomis Avenue in Nisswa.
TRAFFIC CONTROL: An officer provided traffic control Sept. 29 at Nisswa Avenue and Highway 371 as the stoplight was malfunctioning.
Pequot Lakes Police Department
THEFTS: Bikes were reported stolen from the Paul Bunyan Trail in Pequot Lakes on Sept. 28.
Thefts were reported from Front Street on Sept. 28 and Brown Street on Sept. 23. An iPod was reported stolen on Olson Street in Pequot Lakes on Sept. 18.
On Sept. 18 it was reported that a vehicle was broken into on Pequot Boulevard.
BURGLARIES: Two Yamaha golf carts were reported stolen Sept. 27 in a burglary on Blueberry Lane in Pequot Lakes.
A burglary was reported on Davis Street in Pequot Lakes on Sept. 19.
ACCIDENTS: A two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported Sept. 26 at Highway 371 and County Road 168 in Pequot Lakes.
A property damage accident was reported Sept. 23 on Grove Street in Pequot Lakes. It was reported that someone hit the complainant’s vehicle while it was in a parking lot.
