Nolan announces $115,830 Federal Aviation Administration grant for Longville Municipal Airport
The Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration have awarded $115,830 to Longville Municipal Airport, Congressman Rick Nolan announced.
The grant will provide federal funding for the rehabilitation of the airport’s aging apron pavement, and to fund the first of two phases of an Airport Master Plan Study for the airport’s future development.
Nolan, a member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee on Aviation, as well as the General Aviation Caucus, said, “This announcement means critical jobs for Longville and all of Cass County. Our regional airports are critical hubs in transporting business commuters and tourists alike, and I’m pleased to announce that part of these funds will go toward ensuring the future economic success of the area.”
