Pequot Lakes Schools will celebrate homecoming with coronation of the royal court at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, in the high school gym for fifth- through 12th-graders.

Coronation is open to the public. It will be held in the afternoon during school hours, instead of the traditional nighttime event, because of evening events already scheduled that night (volleyball and powderbuff games) and to allow for more students to attend coronation.

The 2013 homecoming court includes the following seniors: Lucas Florell, Travis Jacobson, Tyler Tappe, Jordan Thorson and Brett Peterson; and Kayla Miller, Khloe Wiewel, Naomi Rabe, Ashley Abear and Tara Lundmark.

Junior attendants are Carly Fyle and Guilherme Michielin. Sophomore attendants are Britta Bittner and Timothy Biscoe.

The homecoming court had a dress up day Wednesday, Sept. 18. A game show for the homecoming court is scheduled Friday, Sept 20, during third hour for ninth- through 12th-graders in the high school gym.
