Council approves emergency operations plan
The Fifty Lakes City Council decided to adopt a new emergency operations plan drafted by Richard Schiller, the city’s emergency director, according to draft minutes from the council’s Aug. 13 meeting.
Draft minutes also say the council reviewed a survey about a potential new emergency warning siren system. The council decided to publish the survey online, have a hard copy at the city clerk’s desk and at the post office, and post a link to the survey on the city’s website.
