Pequot firefighters respond

The Pequot Lakes Fire Department responded to a call at 1:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, to a home on the 1500 block of Fieldstone Road Southwest in Pequot Lakes. A tractor baler, a tree and a field caught on fire.

The Nisswa Fire Department was called for mutual aid before firefighters realized the fire was not that large and they were able to extinguish the fire quickly. Firefighters cleared the scene at 2:30 p.m.
